An EICR, or Electrical Installation Condition Report, is a document that an electrician creates after thoroughly assessing the electrical systems in any commercial, domestic, or industrial property. It is sometimes called the Electrical Installation Condition Report or Landlord Safety Test.

Based on current regulations, all rental properties must have an EICR on file. The current regulation are called The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulation which came into effect in 2020.
